  13. Hello!
  14.     My Sportster 28800 External modem dials the number, negotiates for 
  15. about 15 seconds, then disconnects with a "NO CARRIER" message. If I turn the 
  16. modem off, then back on again just prior to clicking the connect button, it 
  17. dials, negotiates, and connects with no problems. It does this with different 
  18. providers and under Windows 95 or Windows 3.11 and Trumpet Winsock. I have the 
  19. latest ROM dated 4/20/95 and USR tech support has been unable to help me. I 
  20. can't be the only one with this problem! Anybody got any ideas?
